Matt was transformed by RUF during his undergraduate years at Clemson University. Through RUF, Matt recognized his need for God's grace and how it changed everything. He also met his wife, Megan, while serving on the RUF worship team. They have three children, Eliot (2011), Zoey (2013) and Margaret (2016). Matt graduated from Clemson in 2007 with a B.S. in Construction Science and Management. After a year and a half working in the construction industry, God called Matt and Megan to seminary in St. Louis where they both earned graduate degrees. From there he served as RUF campus minister at Samford University in Birmingham, AL for four years until coming to NYC to work with City Campus. Though now in New York City, he still cheers for his hometown Atlanta Braves and Clemson's football team. He also likes fly fishing, reading, watching Seinfeld, and eating donuts.
