MATTHEW & MEGAN TERRELL
Matt and Megan are both from the South but love living in NYC. They have three children - Eliot, Zoey and Margaret. After graduating from Clemson University, they lived and worked in South Carolina before moving to St. Louis where they both earned graduate degrees in theology. Before moving to New York they lived and worked in Birmingham, AL. Though now living in the Concrete Jungle, Matt still loves being active outdoors - fly fishing, hiking, exploring. But his favorite hobby is food — he has carefully curated his favorite places to eat hamburgers, donuts, and ice cream in NYC. Megan also enjoys getting out of the city and into nature whenever possible, but when in the city she loves going for a run along the Hudson River or enjoying a grassy park with the kids. She loves exploring the neighborhoods of the city and discovering the best shops to pop into for a cappuccino.
Wei is from Atlanta, GA. He graduated from Georgia Tech (BS International Affairs) and Reformed Theological Seminary Atlanta (MDiv). He’s previously worked with college students with Mission to the World sending them on mission trips around the world and as a college student pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. Wei’s a foodie, bubble tea connoisseur, Atlanta Braves baseball fan, book worm, drummer, tennis player, and lover of big dogs. While new to NYC, he’s excited to live in this city and explore it with you.
Abbey studied Secondary Education and English at the University of Rhode Island (no, it’s not technically an island). She loves East Coast beaches, F. Scott Fitzgerald and spicy Mexican food. In her free time, you’ll likely find her at the rock gym, tossing around a frisbee or out for a run. She is constantly hunting for the best coffee this city, and is especially partial to lavender lattes.
Sterling grew up just outside of Washington D.C. in Arlington, Virginia as the youngest and most extroverted of three siblings. He graduated from James Madison University in 2018 where he studied Vocal Performance and Music Industry. When he's not out getting coffee with people or distracting others from their responsibilities, you'll find him humming, belting, or otherwise vocalizing whatever tune is stuck in his head at the moment — anything from Bach to Beyoncé. He loves ice cream, music, and laughter, so feel free to grab a scoop and send him memes and song recommendations.
